Description: GAL4-GFP enhancer trap complete set1. Set of 116 GAL4-GFP lines (sets J and Q); T-DNA lines transformed with vector pBIN m-gfp5-ER; this vector is derived from pBI121; contains a BAMH1-SST1 fragment carrying a modified GFP gene - a cryptic intron has been eliminated, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) retention signals have been incorporated and mutated to allow improved folding of the GFP at 37C in E. Coli and mutated to allow visualization at UV (395nm) or blue light (473nm); the m-gfp5-ER gene is GAL4 responsive; these lines have been pre-screened for root expression.
